Mary "Starlight" Morris
has been entertaining Houston area audiences for nearly twenty years. In 1992, Mary launched herself into the entertainment world as "Starlight the Clown." She quickly discovered a love for comedy magic. Because of her beginnings as a clown, Mary is a magician who specializes in children's shows, particularly birthday parties, school & day care shows, library shows, etc. She also has a great gospel magic show available for VBS (Vacation Bible School) or other church related events for children and families. Her extensive background in the clowning profession has been a real asset to her as a children's magician, because she not only performs a great comedy magic show for kids, but she is also an award-winning clown, balloon artist, and face painter, making her an excellent choice for your child's next birthday party. Mary, or "Starlight" and most everyone calls her, is also available for school fund raiser shows, in which she motivates the students to sell lots of products, thus winning cool prizes while earning the "big bucks" for their school. She has a great motivational fund raising show. For your banquet-style venue, Mary does strolling close up magic (also known as "pocket magic") for family and adult venues. Mary is also a great character magician, which means she has several complete magic shows designed around specific themes and characters and has costumes that go along with each of these themes (see bottom of this web page for more information about our character / theme magic shows).
